Visited Victoria, BC for two days with my parents. Here's the obligatory shot of the courtyard at the Fairmont.

On the ride up to the Butchart gardens I found my kind of establishment.

Of note: the right side of the field shows the grass undergoing some maintenance. To which I said, "I wish I could just get my yard to look that decent all the time".
Now slightly inspired to try to install a pond.
The boar scarer. Fills with water for ~40 seconds and then pivots down with a thud. No boars were harmed in the making of this photograph.
Pulled pork poutine with sides of fried mac and cheese, beans, and beer? Don't mind if we do.
Architect's ability to draw straight lines rivals my own.
