Looking roughly north from the Lake twenty-two trail across the way to three fingers
~2300 feet elevation for this picture. Starting to see snow on the trail, and some ice crystals and rainbow overhead.
Those flecks on the image about 1/3 of the way across from the left, and just below the line where the snow meets the lake: Those are crazy people who were walking across the lake.

The path of least resistance for the spring runoff is the trail in several places.
Stream crossing on the way up to Heather Lake
Heather Lake - covered in sketchy soft snow and a sketchy melting layer of ice. To the far left of this image (about 3 minutes after I took it) is where I thought there was solid snow under foot, but instead kinda postholed into the lake.
